Paris

The goal of this renovation was to redesign the layout of the existing spaces, which were originally partitioned (kitchen, dining room, and living room), in order to create an open and bright atmosphere. My clients wanted to create both an industrial and warm ambiance.

To achieve this, I chose to give the kitchen an industrial feel, with matte black laminate furniture, a solid wood countertop, and suspended upper cabinets for added lightness and modernity.

On the opposite side of the room, a custom wall unit was designed to recreate an ethanol fireplace, emphasizing the warm side of the space. To address the asymmetry of the room, a bookshelf was placed on either side of the fireplace, creating visual balance.

The choice of electric blue color makes perfect sense in this layout, adding a unique and dynamic touch to the entire room.

Owner testimony

« Sébastien did an amazing job when helping us remodelling our living space (kitchen + living room merged together). Not only he helped us in understanding the do's and dont's in so many aspects (design logics, standards to follow etc), he is also a great listener! We were amazingly surprised to see in his recommendations, items (such the creation of a fireplace), that we once mentioned randomly. We were very touched by this gesture. Once the blueprint ready to go, Sébastien curated a great set of color, decoration items, furniture, matching what he understood from our tasted. Well he nailed it. He also helped us in sourcing a kitchen designer that we pre-briefed so it saved us a lot of time. Today, the space remodelled by Sébastien, is our favourite place of our Parisian flat. We can only recommend Sébastien!! »
